How to drive the BMW E30 M3 Evo Rally?

I really enjoyed Dirt Rally....until I bought the BMW E30. I have no clue how to properly drive this car. It seems almost impossible to get "easy" corners. One could say it's lack of driving skills, but the 60 and 70 cars felt good and I was able to keep them on the track. Not with the BMW though. It seems like I need intense use of the handbrake to get tighter corners and with everything else...I don't know ;-) So any hint on how to master this car? I keep crashing all the time on Wales with this car.

funny. the BMW is one of my favorite car. Easy to drift, and handles fairly well. The back is a bit twitchy but other than that, she is fun.

That's probably the main problem - I don't drift that often. It always looks so easy in the videos ;-)

Well, I wish I could drive it like this ;-) How do you start the drift with this car? Scandinavian flick or sort of "playing with the throttle"?

With RWD cars most of the time there's no need for handbrake. Proper weight transfer will make the car turn on corner entry (just watch Kevin's technique). Scandinavian flick does help to get the car more sideways for tighter turns. General rule is that you should steer with the throttle.

More front camber should help the front turn in about -3.0, moving the brake bias further to the rear would help pitch the car into corners as well

I agree on that and it also works pretty good with the 70 Lancia. Oh well, it really comes down to practice for the BMW even though it will be very frustrating in the beginning.
