Richard Burns rally and Dirt Rally

I still playing the Richard Burns Rally(RBR). but any rally games can not exceed it now.
However, I think came to RBR is evaluated as the best rally game and because moderators are active. If anyone would not play RBR at this time if they exist.

I think Dirt Rally meets the PC performance of the current generation. But, it will need to ripen this game for the rest of the part.

I think the problem is the following.
1, It only the screen display can not feel on the road surface that is driving.
2, This controller interface is better than RBR, but does not exceed the Assetto Corsa.
3, Better point of view also set Assetto Corsa.
4, Speed sensation is not correct.
5, The RBR also a game, its balanced by the decent arrangement.
But, Dirt Rally it is not see what it want the game is given to now the state.

RBR problems There are many. But, the game values that can compensate for the problems it has.
I hope the goal what values the Dirt Rally, thereby I think can know whether the existence of this game a certain why.

CMR6 (Dirt), I think that was a good game. Except graphics.

This is absolutely my favourite Rally sim to date (and that includes RBR). Just try taking a maxed-out Mini Clubman as fast you dare through the Welsh Forest - completely terrifying but fantastic. Codies always had it in them. This time they actually delivered.

Rally championship was the one taking place in England with the RAC rally. My I remember that game very well. That one was hard, if you broke some stuff and did not have enough time to fix a headlight you could be disqualified.

Unless the sim aspect of this project generates more cash then previous arcade games (unlikely) they won't make a new RBR. The most likely outcome is a semi realistic arcade racer with very forgiving handling and damage to please the mainstream market.

Fact: There is no mechanical damage like advertised except flat tires. The cooling and engine light may show yellow but has no effect otherwise. In RBR you can blow the head gasket, loose a cylinder or if you collide with something even at slow speed the engine will immediately fail.

Unless proper damage is introduced DiRT Rally should not be advertised as a "hard core simulation".

Well, I just watched a bunch of gameplay videos about this game, and they all have something in common; cars don't powerslide? AT ALL!

1. Audi, in none of the videos I've seen? I mean, can you actualy drive that monster without
powersliding?! :O
2. Lancia, it looks like it's on rails.
3. Impreza on snow, only actual resemblence to real life is lost of traction when braking and
sometimes understeer.

They are youtub videos. I don't own the game, but it looks a bit off IMO? Leave RBR out of it.

You're right the grip is wack. It's just like dirt 3 and wrc 4 had a baby. It's okay but not great. Not RBR.

This car is not RBR original cars and graphics are old generation, however, I think that it is possible to make a difference in the physics and the road surface of the RBR and the Dirt Rally cars.
I think dirt rally is a good game, RBR is also good.
Although divided into preference of people to play, I think Dirt Rally things to be improved are still left.

I think that has failed when it was do not fit the game in preference to paying the money.

Loved RBR (beat it on hard). RBR did struggle on tarmac though, and the models seemed to have no downforce at speed. Colors lacked vibrancy except for the cars which were more like plastic. I agree with the understeer problem though. Seems like throttle steering is kind of stiff even compared to my stock (real) 4WD vehicles. Haven't moved the setups around though, as I've kept my diffs pretty loose. Dirt Rally definitely replaces my old RBR though.

Richard Burns Rally with the 2015 Mod is superb, but I'm hoping to see Dirt Rally make a serious challenge.

RSRBR2015 still feels a bit more realistic. You can "feel" the road you're driving on way better on RSRBR. Let's hope that Dirt Rally will achieve the same! :-)
