i really feel sorry for all you guys not havin a co-pilot. but your answer has infact nothing to do with my question ;)
No alternatives available.
I'd like to see Jen Horsey become a female co-driver voice option in this game, I always found her to have a good voice for it, always had an easier time understanding her than the male option (although that could have to do with many different factors throughout the recording & production process, as well as one's ability to understand different accents in contrast with their native language). In any case, I can't see it happening. Oh well, the co-driver in the game is sufficient for me.
From college teachers from foreign lands to assisting engineers in Chicago born in different countries, I easily understand many accents, and even British vehicle terms from racing buddies who came from London. But there were times during rapid succession of turns when I could have swarn my co-driver said what sounded exactly like "effin left" when he said "hairpin left". Anyway the symbols at the top of the screen can help as long as you can keep track of which one you are in. Or if you are going through a straight section or 6 turn and see a rock wall or mountain in front of you, you are probably approaching a tighter turn.
