old perhaps, but there is no other good wheel in the mid segment since years. Its the best u can get for 100 bucks this times and u have a good wheel.
Like I said, the pedals were the only thing that didn't register in game. I used the Logitech profiler to assign keyboard keys to the pedals. I set "W" for gas, and "S" for Brake. Launching the game via the profiler and assigning the new "W" and "S" pedals to the in-game controls allowed the game to function perfectly.
$100? Wow, I got it for like $20 maybe 2 years ago.
I guess I'm gonna go ahead and bite the bullet and purchase. Thanks for all the input!
but all in all drivable
Moin,
got it to work (almost) flawless. But, and this is a big BUT, the game seems to change the settings depending on the stage i am driving. That could be a good thing if done properly, BUT it really sucks! When driving the Monaco Rally in open mode the steering was fine. But in the Greece stages the same car (Lancia) was almost undriveable, aka the steering was horrible. I could turn the wheel for some 90+ degrees without any effect.
Hello to you guys at Codemasters: It is OK to adjust the steering according to the specific needs of a specific stage, but in this case you really have overdone it, seriously. The Lancia is "unfahrbar"
