Getting rid of bloom / motion blur
These are two things I always turn off in racing titles, but I don't see any option to turn them off here. Is there one that I'm just not seeing?

EDIT: Turn shader settings to low to get rid of motion blur and depth of field. Thanks Schmeskts and Demerzel!

+1 for this, i especially hate motion blur, that makes that nice and sharp graphics ugly.

Well, I found out how to get rid of ALL the post processing, problem is, it gets rid of EVERY piece of eye candy in addition to getting rid of the blur and bloom. Inside the game folder, in "postprocess" folder there is a text file called "effects"..

Just for fun, I cut the effects file and pasted it on my desktop. All post processing effects were gone, the game looked very clean with no blur or focus or anything, but it also looked very bland, with no lighting effects or anything...

Give it a try, you might like it...i'm just doing some experimentation...I'm sure within that text document, there is a value that can be changed to get rid of just the motion blur, but there is a ton of text in there and I didn't have time to look at it all last night.

I tried editing the effect.xml file. No luck, even changing the file *at all* results in all effects being disabled (even opening and resaving it). Seems there maybe some sort of tamper security. The motion blur is way over the top and travelling through dark sections of road results in the raod textures swmming all over the place. An option to disable or reduce it would be very nice.

Turn down the ambient occlusion to low.

Try lowering shader-settings, helped me a lot do get a sharp image without loosing to much details. Maybe lowering ambient occlusion is also a good idea.

+1 the more options the better and while I like Bloom (not to much!) I hate Motion Blur, it's heavy on performance and ugly, same goes for Depth of Field.

MB sucks, but I don't see it in the car view I use.

To everyone suggesting turning down the shader settings, THANKS! Totally got rid of the motion blur, game looks so much cleaner now.

Yeah but on triples. the blur just gets exponentially worse as it goes out towards the outside screens, looks WAY over-blurred on the edges.

@Demerzel. Thanks, did the trick. It was right under my nose.
