I doubt it.
I see this very much as a low risk/cost project by Codies.
To try taking an established series in a very new (or old depending on your point of view) direction, with some of that risk mittegated by a bit of additional development funding via early access.
If it goes horribly wrong, then damage to the brand and company financials will be minimised.
I mean, it's a PC exclusive Codemasters game.
I'm positive we'll see an 8th generation console version before Linux.

I purchased Grid Autosport a couple of weeks back when it was announced that it was being released natively to Linux/SteamOS. Currently says so right on its store page.

This seems like a racing game I would like. How about being the first AAA racing game on linux with VR support? No interest?

Even e-on wrapper would be good. I heard there will be GRID Autosport on Linux (was on SteamOS games sale), why not DiRT Rally?
