What do you think about Opel Manta 400?
I absolutely love this car now. By far the best torque distribution and gearbox in game (better than in Lancia 037), superb suspension that holds the car on the road like an expensive Gran Tourismo coupe, drivetrain with great handling both for gravel and tarmac.

The car is rather cheap, but it is a great value for the money. Recommend taking it in 7/7 livery - Yellow 05. Very stylish.

In Group B RWD it outperforms Lancia 037.

Really surprised to hear this, I think it's dreadful on gravel. I'm glad everony has a different approach and his own preferences.

Try to run Lancia 037 on Argolis stages and you will see what is dreadful on gravel, especially with low gear ratios and reasonably low final ratio. It will spin wheels like a hell and skid as well.
All the luck is that 037 rear wheels are very wide so you can catch moments before they go off the road.

Manta has much more controllable power distribution from gear to gear and the application of torque. I have done some research how Manta 400 was constructed - it appears to be a collaboration work of Irmscher (Opel's domestic factory tuner) and Cosworth engine plant.

I find the 037 a dream in Greece and Wales, almost driving itself. Without changing the setup. The Manta however, a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nightmare.
