This one makes me laugh every time given the fact it is said at easy left-5 turn.

The pacenotes for the German stages are...weird. Left 5 feels like a left 3 sometimes! :P Maybe that's why the co driver says it, lol.

Its a call which is quite often used in UK rallying and since the Dirt Rally co-driver Paul Coleman is a real life co-driver i guess that's where he's got it from , a bend which may look daunting but can be attacked.

BTW i like the call gives the feeling of confidence for the bend.

We need the classical feeling now and then. Having the co-driver shake hands with the driver at the end would be icing on the cake (with hopefully 10 versions of the same animation instead of one).

I like the addition of be brave, and yes it does give the confidence to take the bend that bit faster.

Paul uses the real calls so the pacenotes in Dirt is the most realistic Iv seen so far in a sim/game.

John Tucker is his name I believe, Coleman is the actual driver.
As for the "be brave" call: when i heard it the first time I was approaching a left 3 from a straight at high speed, and instead of slowing down too much I just floored it and flew through the corner thinking to myself :"good call"

I like the be brave comment, but damage model wont let you lose or the auto-recovery/recovery system is broken and should be removed or at least a toggle for extra $$$ like other driving aids...

Bring back Jen Horsey! No offense to the current co-driver. I'm used to paying attention to Jen from D3. And that blokes paying more attention to a female voice thing has some merit.

You're complaining about THIS? Ok... good luck with that.

It just seems like a really weird thing for a co diver to say, he should just say "flat out" or something. Telling us to be brave doesn't help us to understand how we should be approaching the corner.

nah bro thats swapped. Paul Coleman is the co-driver/lead developer. John Tucker is a rally driver.

Could be worse, he could go on like "yo dude, that was awesome, knew you could do it, you just earned a whole bunch of respect, amigo. Sweet!"

Hes not a clown, its a legitimate call from the real world that you simply dont understand and are overreacting to.

Nothing says realism and immersion more than a co-driver lightheartedly cracking jokes at you just seconds after you've totaled your car.
