Quattro Group B setup
Looking for a few ways to make the Quattro turn in snappier - particularly on ice at Monte Carlo. Now I know that the Sport Quattro's were infamous for being understeerey (I probably made that word up didn't I :P) . And I'm yet to get all the upgrades - so I'm down on power and up on weight which doesn't help.

Looking to make a small tweak to get me into 1st on Masters events (curse you N Hughes you Ai Alien) - since I'm currently normally around the top 3 but find myself overdriving the car and losing time if I try and push much more... And I think that tweak would be to sharpen corner entry.

Currently running short 1st through 3rd to give it slightly better delivery/ corner exits. A stiff rear anti roll bar (circuit racing trick to make turn in quicker), a pretty loose front diff - tight rear diff with lots of handbrake on the way in and lots of throttle on the way out of the corners.

So any help? Or am I about to be told to go out and drive the S4 instead.... (which is awesome, and faster, but I prefer the Audi 5 cylinder noise!)

I looked at that one and it was a bit too generic for my liking.... I'd already done all the basics from that thread as a first time setup. Mine was more a question to see if there are any tweaks that are "dirt specific" as it were as all my setup knowledge comes from circuit racing, which is how I've ended up where I am.

Try lowering the preload on the front diff a fair amount.
On ice in the Quattro - get handbrake heavy. Make sure you use it early and go easy on the throttle to get your line back

You Sir, deserve a medal, I'd typically left the Diff settings to the big sliders, jumped into advanced setup and dropped the front preload. Got the sharper turn in I was after and some rally wins

Nice, I'll try this later. I was having the same problem with the Quattro on ice.
