The G27 is still a current wheel, so i'm thinking this is just an oversight.
I will receive my G27 on Friday, i will update this thread with the result of this version then.
Looking forward to this. I also thought that the ancient 5.10 driver is the only way to go.
EDIT: I just checked and the official site took me to 5.10 as download:
http://support.logitech.com/product/g27-racing-wheel#download
Software Version: 5.10.127
Post Date: 08/30/2010
OS: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP (or older), Windows 10
File Size: Approximately 13 Mb
Direct link: http://www.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/joystick/lgs510_x64.exe
I doubt we will ever get an update to the drivers or profiler, if they didn't do it anytime in the last 5 yrs they won't now they have new wheels to push.
As soon as my G27 shows signs of failing I'm out of the Logitech family (they have been great wheels but lack any real innovation for years).
All you need for your G27 is the Profiler 5.10, like Meszes points above. LGS doesn't support G27 so, forget that. When you get your wheel delievered, just download the Profiler from the direct link that Meszes posted. Do notice that that link is for 64 bits OS tough.
try the older stuff first. Don't connect the wheel until that profiler finished installing and registering the driver. Then you should be on your merry way to wheel-turning heaven ;-)
If you scroll down a bit in that page and click in " Works with these products ", you will notice that G27 isn't there, only G29 and G920.
Links in Logitech Support pages are all messed, at least some. Same thing happened to me like 2 months ago when i bought my G27. It was Meszes who helped me out and directed me to Profiler download page because i couldn't find anywhere, i was always getting directed to wrong download pages and getting more and more confused with what i should download.
All you need is the Profiler 5.10.
Profiler starts to see your G25/G27 as a Driving Force wheel, and get's all messed ( exactly what Herectic762 posted above ). If you get a Logitech Update through Windows Update, i recommed you don't install, same as to not update LGS to v8.83 ( check my thread for more details ).
