There's a small problem atm with too much grip. You can go to cars>models>find the ford rs200 folder>tuning and then change tyre setings to low grip. This is not something that can be done ingame (or as far as i know). This will hopefully be tweaked in the next patch.

It takes a bit of getting used to. I love my RS 200.

Nothing to be fixed. In corners, it pushes outwards more than the others, but that's simply because it's much heavier, as it was in real life.

And it doesn't have the feel of an AWD car in real life at all? What sort of AWD cars are we talking about? An AWD Golf? A Jeep Cherokee?

It oversteeres much more than the quattro and the Delta S4!
I like it a lot;).

It does, I think there's a misunderstanding. It's oversteering in the sense that it's more tail-/slide-happy, but it's understeering if you're thinking of pushing outwards of the corner and leaving the road (greater momentum).

Well the settings on the real RS200 the diff was like 30% front and 60% back or something, so the car oversteering is something i can understand, so i got surprised when he said understeering.
...since IRL I have fallen in love with the proverbial ♥♥♥♥♥-wagon (the polar opposite of the car in Pulp Fiction I mean): Subaru Forester '06 I can honestly say: I would expect a mid-engined, rally-spec BEAST to handle decisively different compared to that!

You should go and brush up on your car-knowledge. I mean the stuff underneath the sheet-metal and the badge.

I agree with the car having a greater momentum. It still turns in way easier than the quattro, so u don't feel the momentum very much.

Play with the differentials - that would definitely change the handling of the car and make it more up to your liking.
You don't need to change much else, maybe camber and toe if it's not holding the line or still has issues with turning.

The only thing I'm unhappy about RS200 is that it is right handed. Otherwise it's pretty powerful and handles good.

When you buy a car it doesn't have any upgrades, it's heavier and it got less power. Go to custom event and try it there, it's fully upgraded and handling should be a bit different.

that is actually a big factor. Recommended to try out for yourself!

On another note: Why do we even have to play the support guys for questions about what I consider game-mechanics? Why can the guys at Codemasters not write up a simple piece on how to play this game and make that sticky right at the top of the main forum-section? It's not like this is the first time this question gets asked. No offense to the OP. BUT this is one of the obvious mistakes these guys DO make.

I really like the RS200. At first it was a bit unwieldy, but it has become one of my favourite Group B cars.

I love it as well. 4WD's should be understeery.

My favorite original feature is that we could fix the gearing in setups and gain an advantage. Then it got patched. :(
