Engine Rumble too strong

My wife HATES the ffb rumble at high revs (not a huge fan of it myself) I can't suss which option will reduce it (if there is one), if I can't then this is a refund. Can anyone advise me on how to reduce it to a manageable level without reducing all other forces too much?

After you changed device=pad to wheel, you need to change sample1="revEffect"/> to sample0="revEffect"/>

or just delete all lines that has revEffect in them. so no reveffects!

darn it already have the refund....I'll follow threads and see if codies fix the issue. It sounds like it never used to affect Fanatec wheels like this before, sods law for me this build coincided with a sale.

Already have the refund, not played it over two hours I couldn't, the rumble was immediate and disruptive. In hindsight I was too hasty, but the only person that suffers is me for not having the game anymore. If codies fix the issue I'll get it again next sale.
