They can't speak about it so it could be any reason why they can't obtain the licence - Maybe someone else has it exclusively?

Steam Workshop and modding will take care of this probably.
To be honest I'd rather see a Lancer Evo VI instead of a GT4 if Codemasters had to choose.

Probably not. Especially at sound department and phisics (obviously). But hey, it's better than milestone's crap :P
I like to think so, but no-one has with any previous iterations of DiRT, Grid or F1 (all using the same engine base).

At least the devs can put more time into making this game even better and hopefully dominating the market.
Then Toyota would look pretty damn stupid. (They do already in my eyes)
I haven't seen any evidence of the other manufacturers refusing licencing - Maybe it's coming... Who knows?
