Not everyone that races wants to join a league..... Dirt 3, Dirt 2 and Dirt had better online than this even with GFWL.
Everything is explained in this post (read through all the comments). Use search function.
thank god this doe not have multi-wrecker on it
Apparently we did'nt want it. What we wanted was pure leaderboards.... lool.
Woudnt that rly hurt the communtiy? Just freedrive with a friend? (or two)
Here's hope for Dirt Rally 2.
I didnt tryed but isnt there rallycross multiplayer? Just use the same system on a normal map, free drive without timing. All they have to put up a second car spawn behind the first for example, or on stage in front of it.
(in case rallycross MP works allready)
- Set up spawn location for 2nd player (behind or in front is fine, shoud be freedrive anyway, real racing woudnt be possible due to most map starts wont allow a side by side start right?)
- Disable timers
- Make it p2p, wont cost money, and nobody will care since u wont try to bump each othehr anway.
- Pikes Peak woud be an awesome map to try it out since there u even get let guys start parrallel and take time for both.
Community did these kind of stuff for singleplayer games ages ago (GTA, Thief, lot of RPG games...) and still do it. Thats a pretty common mod. Sadly I am personally not able to do this kind of stuff.
