low FPS with the wheel conected (becomes impossible to play)
Hi. i play dirt rally since almost day 1. I had a pentium g2030 and a gt 640 2gb and the fps were okay in low. (around 50/60). Then i upgraded my setup with a gtx 750 t1 2gb and a intel i5-2400. the game was bettter, but i had to stop playing, since studies must come first. I'm not trying to play, but i can't. the fps are at 30 in medium, or low or ultra low, and decrease while im completing a stage. i already unistalled GForce Experience to be able to use my wheel, but i don't know what to do more. i can provide any file or information that you may need to help me here. thx.

btw, i cant connect to race net, i have a warning everytime i open the game.

Windows 10 Pro x64

Update: it's a problem that only happen with my wheel connected. the fps are stupid with it on. only with the keyboard i have a minimun of 60 fps, max of 100 (stats from the benchmark). with the wheel i have 30 max, 20 av. it's a Driving Force GT.

When the latest patch was released your graphics settings may have been reset. Have you checked your settings since then? It caught many people out, so it may be the cause of your problem, too.

If you can't connect to racenet post here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/310560/discussions/0/520519112495448519/

yes. i tried ultra low already, low and medium. i have 30 fps at the beginning of a stage, after 2/3 minutes it's impossible to play. the last thing in the advanced settings it's turned off, but made no effect with my problem.

I seem to recall hearing of this exact issue before, so somebody should come along soon to help you. What operating system are you on?

Do you have same low fps with your wheel unplugged? Just run the benchmark to see if there's a difference.

............ | without the wheel | with the wheel
Min fps | 60 | 24
Avg fps | 100 | 50
Max fps | 200 | 100

Have you tried to lower the quality of graphics and see if you have a background process?

I used to have a PC with nvidia geforce 650 and GTA 4 run well, but other games do not.
Maybe your card is small.
I have a NVIDIA Quadro K2200 and will always 90 frames. Except when it rains it will 60 :)

I have a GTX 750 Ti. that can't be the problem, since i already played this game before with a lower graphic card. (i upgraded from a gt 640)

Well, some people reported this issue with different wheel models before. There are a few things you can try, no guarantees.

- Make sure your DFGT is plugged into a USB 2.0 port directly on the back of the motherboard.
- Try plugging the wheel into other USB ports.
- Try to run both Steam and 'drt.exe' by right clicking then 'run as administrator'.
- Reinstall the Logitech Profiler: http://www.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/joystick/lgs510_x64.exe

Good luck!
