I want to say Monte Carlo, but I feel I'd be in the minority. Probably Wales. Also try the square corners at Finland and Germany.

dont you have 45 seconds of going the wrong way, just turn around go back the other way and try again

Its no that much is it? Its more like 15...

Any dirt track will have some good corners you can try on. It doesn't work out so well on Tarmac, you need more of a drift than a flick on asphalt.

Tarmac works as well as any other surface. Flugzeugring (and reversed) has very nice hairpin "maze" at the middle of the stage. Always a joy to tackle it with E30 and scandinavian flicks.

i must agree... Fleugzugring and reverse is a very good place to practice Scandinavian

remember that scandinavian flick is meant for ~90 degree turns !

Monte Carlo is not ... that's the place for handbrake !

I feel like Fourketa Kourva/Koryfi Dafni part of Greece with its many hairpins/switchbacks is pretty handy for practising Scandinavian flicks.

Also, in Wales, there's this part on Pant Mawr reverse about a third of the stage in with basically several square corners in sequence where I also find it easy to practice Scandinavian flicks.

And then of course the whole upper section of Col de Tourini - Sprint en Montée/Descente that's just snow and ice and sharp corners.

I think Greece is good. The reason is the grip is lower there, and the lower the grip, the slower the whole flick process is, the more you can make sense of things.

BTW, RBR had a Scandinavian Flick lesson in the rally school.

My wish for Dirt Rally 2 - only allow the use of the handbrake in the cars that actually had one IRL ;)

Like Markku Alen said to Chris Harris about driving the Stratos back in the day:

"In those times, you didn't have handbrake. Today the guys are using a lot of handbrake. We were only braking and accelerating, two options. No handbrake in this car."

Finland... those hairpins and that one hard square corner after some long straights.. are all fast and roomy and fun! Your speed and braking almost makes you do them. I'm surprised when I watch a replay sometimes how sideways - the wrong way - I am before entering on a fast flick. But it's because the braking is harder and swings the back end more. Then Bam, swing it back and go. So satisfying.

Same here. I never hit the (well almost never) handbrakef In the 037 or stratos. Be best if it where not there at all...
