60s: A110 for realsies, cooper for funsies, fulvia if i wanted to hate myself
70s: probably the abarth, but the stratos is kinda fun to fling around
80s: the R5T on everything except tarmac, can't stand the E30
4WD: the quattro; it just sounds so right
RWD: i want to like the 037, but it don't like me back
GpA: i actually love the cossie, even though it objectively sucks
F2: the ibiza, i detest the 306
R4: impreza, probably, just because it saves adjusting to the opposite side of the cabin (even though i drive on the right-hand side IRL, go figure)
00: alternates between the 2001 focus and the citroen
10: i30, it feels the most 'planted'
Mini is great fun on gravel, awful on tar as the handbrake doesn't work properly.
R5 is great on everything except wet and snow when they got the physics wrong on the front end and you can just turn the wheel forever and it won't turn in!
Escort, FIAT are great fun.
M3 is great but needs 6 gears, Cosworth is opposite is geared too long.
GpB are OK, but the cars are very tricky to drive, a little too tricky with the 205 and Metro, especially on asphalt where they have gone overboard with mid engined physics meaning the Stratos, 037 and some of the GpB's are far too twitchy.
Escort Cosworth is great, no need for 7 gears though. Impreza good too.
Modern cars can suck really, too boring, planted. Great for blatting along some stages, but if yoou use in car view as I do, you simply cant see very well sadly.#
Most fun for me are the kit cars, once you set them up right so much fun on gravel, both of them.
Peogeot 205 is the worst
Well... it's not easy.

7 speed is easier on the driveshaft over say 24 stades without service but hits the gearbox. 5 does damage to driveshaft over24... More so than 6 speed.

Worst cars: R4 class, Lancia Fulvia, Escort Mk2, Mini Countryman
Least favourite car, I don't really have one but probably the Fulvia is the least fun to drive. I remember a daily that was one of those on a long stage in Finland. Never almost fallen asleep in this game before!
I drive this more than most of the others. Seems to be one of the more forgiving cars and suits my preference towards oversteer.
Just started playing with setups today using the recently added guide and what a difference! Sometimes the default setup almost makes the car front wheel drive. After doing a bit of setting up (mainly brakes and diffs) I went from regular 2nd-3rd on Greece long stages to 30 seconds in the lead.
I also rather like the Ford RS200. Very drifty, like in Dirt 2 RX...
I find that it understeers a lot unless you tap the brake and get the back out slightly, assuming brake bias is towards the front.
200 hours into the game and I only know the main sliders in the game, dont understand the advanced ones apart from brake strength lol. Yeah the Impreza feels very FWD in default to me but I find it a challenge
RS200 is really fun!
Fiat 131 Abarth
70's - Escort
80's - BMW
Gr B RWD - pls no
Gr B 4WD - Delta
Gr A - Delta

70's Kaddett
80's Renault R5
Group B 4WD Delta S4
Group B RWD Lancia 037 (so much fun)
Group A Subaru (just because of colin mcrae)
Kit Car 306 (it is a little bomb)
R4 mitsubishi

Least favorites would be
Ford Sierra 500 (just a tank)
Ford Escort Corsworth (too heavy)
R4 Subaru (just not well balanced)
Group B AWD Audi (just heavy) which they would include the evolution S1
Lots of choices and I have to say, the RWD cars gave me the most fun :)
