I really don't understand how someone can say BeamNG driving physics are realistic, and there are a lot of them. They're probably people who never drove a real car before or suffer from severe labyrinthitis.
The driving feel is authentic and visceral, and crashes are realistic and violent; yet the physics are accessible enough to drive with a keyboard or gamepad while still being authentic with a full racing wheel with uncompromising realism.
Yeah. REALISTIC. A mod for dirt rally about more grip would be nice. Im tired of hitting every single tree in the game
"Go on, bacon is good for your health", said the pig. I don't believe the developer's opinion can be fully trusted.

Practice more. DR is a hard game, with a long learning curve. You'll eventually get better with time.
This game has a serious problem with gravity and collisions and has a constant feeling of driving a hovercraft.
I hope v.2 correct this.
*approaches the corner as if it was a Right 5 open, crashes on exit*
yea dude its /you/ not the game lmao
A; In a simulation you wouldn't want to play with a keyboard, especially if you want to judge about handling.
B; The car in BeamNG. drive has much less power than this modern, overpowered Rally car, so of course it is easier to handle if you don't get as fast.
C; The tracks in Dirt Rally have much more bumps and difficult turns, so it's much more demanding on your concentration and you have much possibility to screw it up.
And BeamNG.Drive is also easier because it doesn't make an difference about grip level on different surfaces yet. So you can give full throttle while leaving the road with on side and wouldn't turn.
Play BeamNG.drive again, FFB got updated months ago and can now pretty much compete with Dirt Rally.
meaning my times have gotten better with no assists
Times with no assits > Times with assists
