I can recommend Forza Motosport for most players, it is a very good blend of sim and arcade. Played for hundreds hours only FM4 on 360 though.
But Xpertgamingtech on youtube is a Dirt Rally god and he also loves Forza. Doesn't hurt to give the trial a shot. Takes forever to download tho.
not a very good one, but it exists
I played a little and actually like DR a lot more in terms of the actual driving - it's unbeatable.
For the record don't have a steering, I use a gamepad and 3rd person view even in Dirt Rally.
when i played it, i couldn't but feel that it was just a prettier, next generation version of test drive unlimited with none of the narmy 'soul' that made TDU and TDU2 comfy
not very 'good' games, but comfy games, and by comparison horizon feels like a typically sterile paint-by-numbers open world game
+1
I felt it's hollow, may be good way to listen to some new music.
Somehow I have fonder memories of NFSMW (2012). It had also no damage model at all, but its perpetual wet roads, cops, and even music was so memorable.
I kinda like the atmosphere of Grid 2. I totally can't stand the driving, because you *gain* grip by drifting and smoking tires. Grid Autosport doesn't have that nonsense, but its presentation is a bit too sterile.
