...well, perhaps in Sweden Fwd is easier.
Mini: I just can't be bothered with it. It's slow even with full upgrades. Ground clearance isn't bad but it can be twitchy on bumpy roads.
Lancia Fulvia: I avoid it like the plague. It seems heavier than the Mini and takes forever to go from 1st to 2nd gear.
I do have to admit that it has that distinctive Lancia look, just like the 037, S4 or Delta Integrale.
I like others too.
Fulvia: My most used car in statistics till last july.
Alpine: cute too. I like this car since sega rally 2
Mini Cooper: Much better gear ratios, fun to drive.
Renault Alpine: The car to go for, no question. It's the only competitive car in the class.
That said, in Dirt Rally 2 the Alpine needs its own class. I believe the issue with 60s rallying is the lack of regulations, which means that some cars are much more competent than others. I believe the Alpine is essentially a top of the line '60s rally car, while the other two aren't.
RWD made it the only choice for me.
Sadly very few people enjoy this. The Mini cannot match the Alpine, so they don't consider it worth the trouble. I for one adore it.
Because I'm English, and it's a Mini Cooper.... of course
Also, it's a PROPER Mini Cooper, not a crappy BMW knock-off.
