No launch in VR Quest

When I launch the game through Steam VR, it just immediately quits without any error message. Not sure what's needed to get it to run?

I open the game from the desktop, if I try to open it via Steam VR game don't apears at the library.
I use a Xbox controller that is already conected, first turn on my Quest 2 and second connect to Oculus Link. Go to desktop and open the game, when starts I can only use the gamepad to play.

Nope, have run Dirt 2 in VR with no issues, didn't bother more with 1.

Hi. I just finished playing Dirt Rally in VR. It doesn't work with Steam VR like Dirt Rlaly 2.0 does. I'm using a Q2 with Air Link to get it working properly. In the Oculus app on your PC, make sure that the Oculus OpenXR Runtime is selected in Settings/General. Then load Dirt Rally in your Steam Library, and you'll see the game load in your Quest headset in a smaller rectangular box.

In the Dirt Rally options, you'll now see VR options in different categories. Once you set it up the way you want, enter a race or trial, and as soon as any cutscene ends, you'll be in the cockpit in VR. In the DR options, you'll have a choice to only use the cockpit view or any of the camera views while playing in VR. I hope this works for you. :)

Game launches in flat mode with Quest 2 / Steam Link when I launch it through Steam VR. It does launch in VR mode when launched with Air Link through Oculus App. But I prefer Steam Link from Air Link...
Any ideas on how to force launch in VR mode ? Thx in advance

I've personally tried numerous ways to get it running without using AirLink, but it appears to be the only way with DR1 as I haven't seen any other solution. I have no issue at all with DR2 using VD and SteamVR, so I'm not sure what the difference is as they both use the openvr dll.

I think it's because Codemasters/EA never bothered configuring the Steam applet for VR mode like they did with DR2 (2 appears in the VR tab whereas 1 doesn't)
