Ps4 has no bugs that I've seen (600 hours approx.), Pc seems to create them.Graphics are better though on a high-end machine.

whats the FPS of a PS4 60 30? PC's can go through the roof.... just saying. On a PS4 the others will be equal more or less...

PC much more "hackable"... on the consoles I assume its only the display details to "hack" i.e. brightness, weather detail etc. Or all the same? Is there a setting for that on consoles?

lol

what about in regards to content, i saw pc has steam workshop. Does ps4 have the same sort of thing??

No idea here. I just want hard, fair speed/racing. I probably should grab a console.

The last console for me was a playstation 1 and then someone showed me motocross madness multiplayer online on a PC and I havnt touched a console since. Maybe I should now they have multiplayer these days.

indeed workshop is on PC steam. For the choice, I dunno, never played on PS (:

PC advantage: you can use way more wheels for the game. For PS4 only one logitech.
I don't know if PS4 supports multiple controllers.

Yeah no modding is the real loss when going to console. As for FPS my tv (Samsung UHD) says 60 but it doesn't look like it but NO stuttering, freezing etc.PS4 pro is better imo cause of boost mode (console overclock) which makes a visible difference. The most important thing for me is just turn it on and play.

PSVR community is pretty neat , and im suprised how many people play this online

but again, if you got a high end machine it looks better on PC.

i gotta give it to sony tho, The streamlined easy-ness of PS4 is nice.

The only real advantage a PC has is the fact that there are many DiRT Rally mods. There is hundreds of liveries for all cars, and some are needed for a deeper immersion like the Colin McRae/Nicky Grist 'Martini' livery from the 2000s and the Loeb/Elena Red Bull livery for the Citroen C4. The Steam workshop for DiRT Rally PC is just for car set ups, which can be very useful, especially for beginners. Liveries aren't found on the Steam workshop and are found mostly of the RaceDepartment website and other DiRT mod websites, and its just a simple drag-and-drop to import these liveries and mods. PS4 can't import liveries and mods whatsoever. I also use a mod called DiRTIER that increases the dirt and mud on the car. Graphically, DiRT Rally does look a lot nicer if you have a decent PC, but PS4 DiRT Rally still looks pretty good. I don't know much about league popularity on PC as I only recently got the game and I'm still getting the grips of the game in single player. I play DiRT 4 on the PS4 and I can tell you, there isn't much difference between that and PC DiRT 4 footage I've seen. You're still getting 60fps and some very nice graphics. But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what you go for; you'll still be getting good rally racing on either platform!

So DiRT 4 is good (Heard DiRT Rally is better) but the Livery modding system means that the game wont save progress whilst you have a car with a modded Livery. Is this the same deal with DR or can you use the car and save your progress? Thanks in advance.

edit: know this was off topic but there are barely any community discussions that were recent or relevant

Livery mods work fine in Dirt Rally, don't affect saving or online or anything else. They make a big difference too, I play i helmet cam so I can't see it while driving but watching replays is much better with a well made historic/WRC livery rather than the awful generic/fantasy liveries most cars have without mods. Lots of livery mods on Racedepartment

PC - on my new laptop 1080p Ultra settings give min 90 fps, max 180 on the benchmark. Must say fluid!
