Controller Acceleration FIX (AKA my car doesn't go fast with a controller fix)
So I got dirt rally and what do you know I'm doing 30km/h during the whole race, I tried to search online for a fix but there weren't any know fixes and people were just confused. So here is my fix for this issue:

1. Go to "Options & Extras"
2. Go to "Controls"
3. Go to "Advanced Gamepad Settings"
4. Try Pressing RT/R2 to check what the sensitivity is. If the throttle only goes up to like 25% then we have an issue.
5. Try setting the Throttle/Break Saturation to around 20%
6. If you try pressing RT/R2 now it should go to 100% without a problem.

Hope this helps, if you don't understand this just post comment and a will try to help you as much as I can :)

Mine works fine with ms controller without these settings.

Is it possible that your controller has a trigger-stop / short-trigger and it's activated?

Rough explanation: Some games register only 0 for not pressed and 1 for pressed. that's where short-trigger works fine. but some other games, or items in games, will use the values between them (0.4/0.39...) Most shot-trigger types changes these values and will have issues with the fire of a weapon or the speed of a car etc, because the activation isn't triggered or the maximum is not reached. (But one could change the positions of 1 via software -At the expense of sensitivity in such situations)
And that's why throttle/brake saturation exists.

It's very much possible, I have a wireless xbox controller. I recently started playing gta again with a controller and the RT/LT had some short of short-trigger problem too(very similar to your explanation). I'm going to take a better look at this.

Thanks for the explanation/reply :)

Haven't seen your answer...
Well, but i've tested it yesterday with activated short-trigger and yes... it will drive very slow.
Disable it and everything will be fine.
