Can't play on H-Pattern with Logitech G29

Everytime I try to change for H-Pattern it just doesn't even show as an option when I use my G29, I don't really know how to fix it, help please :(

Yes it does! I can play perfectly fine DiRT 4, Project Cars 2 and FH3

What options does game give you in transmission selection? Only sequential (+auto and semi-auto)?

What version of logitech profiler are u using? (if it's not older lgs510_x64 try with that)

I have the same exact problem. Already tried reinstalling Logitech Gaming Software but still nothing. The game doesn't recognize the G29 as a steering wheel, instead the game thinks the steering wheel is a gamepad. My shifter works perfectly in Project Cars?

I know people who have G29 and are able to use that H-shifter in Dirt Rally so it's a bit strange it's not working for some. Here's one (Lexrax_TV) https://www.twitch.tv/videos/216726089

There's a "wheelsettings" folder (in user<username> ->documents ->my games ->dirt rally), maybe deleting that could help.
Or could it be some driver conflict (only on some pc's?) that causes issues (maybe driver cleaning softwares could help). It might also be usb-driver related thing.

Are you on windows 10?

On windows 10 I had issue with H shifter on G29. But also with the in game FFB options I only had 3 FFB options instead of like 7 or 8 settings on windows 7

Hi, sorry for late respond guys, I've been busy. It shows up as Auto, Semi-Auto and Manual-Seq. I deleted the settings from that folder and tried it again but nothing. I'm running the latest version of Logitech on a Windows 10 x64

That logitech gaming software/logitech profiler u are using does it have all sliders like version 5.10? By sliders etc I mean overall strength slider, damper slider, spring slider, centering spring slider+tickbox, degrees of rotation.

tbh i forgot how i did it but in the options you can set your gears, hgave you tried that?

Only available if you're using the H-Pattern, it let me do M. Sequential but for that it's only gear up or down, that's it. So far I've uninstalled the Logitech Software, installed it again and nothing, I can still play other games but not this one with H-Pattern for some weird reason.

My logitech DFGT isn't being read by the game at all anymore. I have the same problem where everything works perfectly for all my other games (even Codemasters games) but no longer with dirt rally. There was sort of update just a few days ago that I think messed up something with the logitech wheels.

I got my wheel working again. Turned off the logitech profiler and everything works fine again. See if that works for you. You can turn on "h pattern with clutch" in the in game difficulty settings and then set your shifter up in the advanced wheel settings menu.

I’ll try that, turning off the Logitech Profiler. But as I said before, I already went to the settings and the H-Pattern w/ clutch won’t even show as an option. I’ll be recording a video later so you guys can see what I mean, but thanks for the help though!!
