FIXED! Blurry resolution help please! Even the steam overlay is all fuzzy!?

So recently i have just noticed that windowed mode is colourful and sharp and when i switch to full screen text and game becomes blurry!? I have tried 59hz and 60hz also made sure my resolution is native 1080p in game windows 10 desktop and nvidia control panel this is the only game that does it help please thank you! (specs in profile if you need them)

Under Advanced graphics options, try setting Shader Detail to low. Made the game look much much better to my eyes, I hate blurry graphics/motion blur.

Hey thanks for the reply but it's nothing to do with graphic settings it's when i go from large window
to full screen game it's like the game is outputting blurry 720p to my monitor even when it's on 1920x1080p resolution if a dev could help me or someone else here that has a fix or knows this bug please help!

Ok, did you try the setting though? Blurry graphics is exactly what it fixed for me.

yeah i tried it still the same :( even when i shift tab the steam overlay it's all fuzzy

i'm currently reinstalling the game to see if it fixes it i will report back

Whenever I minimize the game it changes the resolution and takes fullscreen off. I have to put it back to fullscreen, change the resolution to 1080P, then go and change it back to windowed and back to fullscreen again. It fixes the blurry image I get.

Try that and see if it works.

Try setting it to the desired resolution, which it will be blurry, and restarting the game in that resolution. Sometimes this also works for me when I get the blur.

Have you tried to delete your graphics config file and let the game build a new on launch? Uninstalling the game does not affect this save.

You can find this folder in C/Documents/My Games/DiRT Rally/hardwaresettings. You will find 2 files in that folder, config and info- delete both of them. The game will create new ones at launch at default settings. This would correct a corrupt graphics setting save if that is your problem. Game progression save will not be lost as it is located elsewhere.

So somehow i managed to fix it lol i went into nvida control panel and went to the change resolution tab i selected customise and made a custom resolution of 1920x1080p 58hz and changed from progressive to interlaced it made my desktop all fuzzybut when i went into the game it's now clear as day :) strange bug hmmmm oh well thanks everyone who helped me with suggestions

For anyone having an AMD graphics card, and experiencing the same problem, make sure that you disable the "Mofological line smoothning" or something similar in the Driver under the Graphics system settings tab. This fixed it for me, hope it works for you too.
