I used to play dirt rally on 520 degrees of rotation and now i just want the momement of my wheel to line up with the movement on the game so i was just wondering what wheel angle does everyone use for this game [also i have a thrustmaster tx leather edition with th8a shifter and fanatec clubsport handbrake

900 degrees with softlock on. The way it's mean to be played. This is my opinion :steammocking:

Use whatever DOR you're most comfortable with. For maximum realism, use 900/1080 with soft lock.

If u remove the hands from the steering animation(cockpit view) then in game wheel and your physical wheel rotation should match (that setting is in preferences+scroll down that page to see it).

With 900degrees+soft lock ON the rotations will be following

1960s
Mini 900, Fulvia 900, Alpine *900 (*with 1080 degrees+softlock = 990dor)

1970s
Opel 900, Fiat *900, Ford 900, Stratos 900 (*with 1080 degrees+softlock =1080dor)

Someone told me that Ford Escort MkII rallycars in 70s already had homologation for 720dor, but I'm not 100% certain of this.

1980s
BMW 720, Sierra 720, Renault 720

Gr B 4WD
MG Metro 900, Audi 720, Ford 720, Peugeot 900, Lancia 900

Gr B RWD
Opel 900, Lancia 037 810

Group A
Ford 720, Subaru 720, Lancia 720

F2 Kit car
Seat 720, Peugeot 720

R4
Subaru 720 , Mitsubishi 720

2000s
Ford '01 720 (Colin McRea had this 720dor in 2001)
Subaru '01 720 (Richard Burns used 540dor in 2001)
Ford '07 540
Citroen 540

2010s
Mini 540
Ford 540 (wrc2 driver Fredrik Åhlin uses 330dor in his Fiesta R5)
VW 540 (I heard a rumour that Ogier had 360dor)
Hyundai 540

There might've been other drivers too that used lower than 540dor in these 2010s cars.
Timewise there shouldn't be diffrerence if u use 540 or 360 or 300, if there is difference it's very small like few seconds(2-3s) on a long stage.

***
Hillclimb Classic:
Peugeot 205 900, Audi 720, Peugeot 405 720

Hillclimb Modern:
Peugeot 208 540

***
RX Classic:
Mini 720

RX S1600:
all 720

RX Supercars:
all 540

Sorry I'm not getting the terms here,

"1960s
Mini 900, Fulvia 900, Alpine *900 (*with 1080 degrees+softlock = 990dor)"

does it mean 900 degrees wheel settings? 1080 degrees in game settings? soft lock? DOR?

can is setup the way the wheel turns more then 90 degrees ingame?
Case Apr 10, 2017 @ 8:34am
Turn off the driver hands.

If your wheel has max 900 degree rotation put that, if it goes to 1080 then put that.

There's too cars in the game with higher than 900degree rotation with soft lock ON, 1960s alpine 990degrees and 1970s fiat 1080 degrees. If your wheel doesn't support 1080 degrees then you'll have 900degrees also with those two cars.

There's no other way, sorry. Either have driver hands enabled with only 180 degrees of the virtual wheel rotation (visual thing only, the car still reacts according to your configured degrees of rotation), or have them disabled and have full virtual wheel rotation animation.
