Anyway...i guess, a well polished TD game with good graphics and a good online/multiplayer implementation can have success these days.
A shame, that this game has been left in the dust :(
Its getting bigger, check Blooms TD, there are thousands of players everyday.

It's a city builder / tower defense, so it doesn't have the arpg element to it (which made this game dope), but it definitely innovates on the genre and I've played countless hours in it, despite being in early access.

It's coming out Nov 18th so the EA bit isn't really relevant. I've had it for a few months and there has been constant updates, content and the dev responds to posts. Has a really good community.
There is a demo available too, which is great because £15 price tag looks steep, but I promise it is worth it, if you love TD games.
While loot in Deathtrap isn't... very overwhelming (;-)), it's still there and farming it is fun.
Does Defense Grid have anything like that?
