Not at all I'm afraid.
Grand Ages: Medieval is a grand strategy game much more akin to something like Europa Universalis or Civilization, with a heavy focus on economic domination. There is a military aspect, but it's not as refined as in classic RTS games such as the Total War series.
This.
I'm interested to know if the A.I will actually act like another player, or will it receive "cheats" to keep up to scratch with a human thinking 10 moves ahead? And if so to what extent?
For example if we're going to see vast swaths of undeveloped land belonging to an enemy contending with your highly industrious super nation like in Civ4 I'd like to know.
AI is the hardest thing to program, no company today can create AI that acts like a Human. If we could then we'd basically have freaking Skynet and we'd cease to exist.
the game will be a little of everything( economy simulation/ basic combat/ conquest of enrope )
Because it's also on PS4. Of course, you don't /have/ to play it with a controller. It's an option which works surprisingly well. We also support the new Steam Controller.
