Building squads Missing!

I seem to have no building squads. I cannot not create anymore. and cannot not find any. Any ideas? thanks

You can't recruit any at the inn?

Did you have any previously? If you did and they're inactive, there should be a number displayed next to the picture of a trowel in the top right section of the HUD. Clicking on the trowel will cycle through any inactive units of that type.

If they're actively building or sitting still and waiting for resources required for their current assignment, you may have a message in the 'Events' tab of the 'Units and Towns' window. Click on the message and it'll select the relevant unit.

yes as Noidenous mentione, the trowel icon shows the building squads and you can click on that to cycle through the idles ones (and the settlers too). If the squad is working it will not be numbered on this icon. If the squad is pause due to lack of materials it will also not show up on this icon, you can see it flashing on the map. To find it on the map look for the city that is lacking raw materials (brick hexagon icon) which is the city suppling this squad and need raws to get it to work.

Also, depending on what starting setting you started with you may not start with a building squad and must make one at the inn.

I can not find any of them. My display dosent even show my military. just traders. IDK if this is a glitch. Last i used them. they built a road, and thats when they seemd to have dissapeared. I added a town but it says i cannot add anymore.

I do not build a lot of building squads. I just started a new game to check and I confirmed that you can only build one building squad per city. So if you only have one city you can only have one buidling squad. (this is also true with traders and settlers, one active per city). If you have 3 cities you can only have 3 building squads and so on.

So do you only have one city? In which case you can only have one buidling squad. The game should give you a warning window telling you that you can not build anymore units as you have reach your limitation on the specific unit.

Also, in the upper right box there are three icons, a trowel (settlers/building squads), little bag (traders), and cross swords (military), and the numbers next to there icons show the idle peeps in each catagory, and you can click on the icon to cycle through the idle peeps. Also, once the peep becomes idle you will hear a ding of a bell and the icon will flash.

So again, the icons only show your idle units, you can only building one buidling squad, one trader and one settler per city you own. If you building squad is working you will see it on the made as a trowel icon, traders are a bag icon, etc.

OK I found it. I didn't realize i have to click the little castle icon. I was clicking the tab with the three people. Now back to my city. LOL And thank you everyone.
