its still being played via bootstrapper, i got it a few days ago and am literally playing right now
i was a massive player back in the day but steered away from any unauthorised use but this bootstrapper is so easy i couldnt say no

Veterans know about Bootstrapper, but even it's unofficial servers are pretty dead without widespread campaigns of "resurrect FS". I barely managed to catch another player in PvE mode and most of the time was running against bots for a year. It gets stale real quick, as bots are limited in their picks and strats.

Just gave Bootstrapper a try and was able to play the game without a problem. easy installation.

how do you coordinate matches thow? there´s an invitelink vor discord floating around, but that one has expired.

because it's dead Jim.... even for veteran die hards......there's only so much life in a game that requires coordinating adults to play. Lets face it, anyone wanting to play this game now are in the adulting stage of life.

The concept of the game is already pretty difficult to gripe for majority of players. World of Warships and WT's naval battles are pretty niche comparing to more popular vehicle combat games. Now imagine how scarce would be capital ship combat fans like in FS. After all, it's not fancy adrenaline-inducing dogfights or quick battles on tanks.

So yeah, kinda bummer that FS died. Unique game, idea, design, lore all under dog's tail. There's Capitalship Command brewing though.

...I installed the game years ago at the recommendation of a friend I no longer even talk to. Then I boot it up and the ♥♥♥♥ didn't wanna launch. Come here to find out the game is dead.

All the memories....well honestly not too many, but i do remember my more spectacular kills and amazing skin of your teeth moments. Don't know why but have been thinking about this game a lot lately though.
