Report a translation problem
Some may say that Hato Moa has declared that BBL is the "canon" ending. Perhaps, but since this is a game and it is up to the player to decide, I disagree. The player is the one choosing the actions for the protagonist, so whichever ending YOU prefer is the one that is the "real" ending... whether that ending is in tragedy or in glorious True Pudding.
That's not exactly a fanfic, but sometimes a different perspective can be just as useful.
The nature of it being a visual novel means there is no single timeline, though--effectively a bunch of parallel timelines.
