Report a translation problem
I started up the game today, and the bug seems to be fixed. I'm starting to think this might be a problem on my end. A very odd problem on my end, but my end nonethelesss.
So, if anyone else comes across this issue, try waiting a day to play again. Seems to work somehow :)
We appreciate the effort and heads up at least :) Will check if this was a one time thing, please let us know if it re-appears.
remove controller, open steam, open game and play with mouse and it go!

Looks like it might be a controller glitch after all. I'm glad we've found a workaround at least.
Devs? Any ideas why this might be happening?
Also, I've finished the game, and it's well worth working around with the mouse and keyboard. Well done, guys!
Either reload or open character menu
Then used the mouse to click through the dialogue and it fixed it

It works, very usefull, thanks a lot.
I'm still freezing when tarasque appears, or, doesn't appear hahah. But entering the game with mouse fixes. I use a generic controller
