Should I play this without playing #1?

it like all really bad games is a fake sequel to the first, meaning it uses the popularity of the first to sell a horribly ♥♥♥♥ game that no effort or money was wasted on... as far as playing it before #1, imo you shouldnt waste your money on this game at all. play #1

I played this #2 first and thoroughly enjoyed it. When #1 showed up on Steam I got that too but found it awkward and limited compared to #2. I think it depends on what you know and are comparing it to. You don't have to have played both, they are independent of each other. If you want to give them a go I would say it's worth it (especially if on sale) but maybe see if you can find some video gameplay on Youtube etc to check out the difference.
