now, if you made a team full of only physical attackers with no magical attacks whatsoever, then you might need to re-spec your characters at the tavern.
RPGs (a loose as that term applies to this game) normally require the player to create a diverse team with varied skills that complement each other.
if you create a one trick pony team focused on only one aspect of combat, then it's not surprising that you have trouble with the other aspects of combat.
