Flappy Bird Section
There aren’t enough words to describe how much this Flappy Bird section with this clumsy, glass mech in the endless road of death irritates me, especially since it takes several minutes to run to it from the save point... But fine, I’m still curious about what’s behind the door on the other end. I flew there with an RPG rocket and saw a pistol, but what’s behind the door? I’m still curious, but I don’t want to waste time on this torturous section

Hi,
Are you using the "Engine Oil" in the item menu to restore your mech's energy?
You should already have some by that point(unless you already consumed them).

The door just leads to a fake floor to return to the room's starting position.
This section is for the getting the second best pistol only,
so if you don't care about that you can skip it entirely.
Some tips:
- I found it quicker to save at a save point close to a warp room and then warp near the Flappy Bird Room than running from the nearest save, since it's so far away.
- I noticed that it's easier to not get hit by the electricity if you fly slightly closer to the sparks above you than the ones below you. It seemed like the hit boxes were a bit more forgiving on the ceiling sparks.
- As was mentioned above, bring as many oils as you can and be ready to retry until you get it.

My problem is with the inertia and fragility of the machine; I usually don’t even make it to the point of wasting fuel. I’m a bad Flappy Birds player, what can I say? Sorry if the comment was too harsh, it’s just that something inside me was dying during this puzzle. But thank you so much for the response—Metroidvanias really push my gaming OCD to its peak

There is no fuel. The mech's energy bar represents how many hits it can take.
You can fully restore the mech's health each time you use the "engine oil" item.

Don't worry about it. We already know that the game is far from perfect.

Engine oil helps. I think the difficulty is acceptable if you're not aiming for no damage pass.
