Stressed to Fcku
I'm not sure about anyone else but this is too much!! First of all, I refuse to get a bad review so that should tell you how stressed I am playing this. How is anyone supposed to check guest in and out, serve room service and clean rooms all at the same time and this is just a tutorial. I'm having to shut down my hotel after 5 guests until i have dealt with their needs. Next I'm told get an axe.... Like I have time to go chop trees. How is everyone else managing this? Love the game though just don't want to bring on a heart attack while playing....

Wait till you get to 'end game' where you clean the store and 10 seconds later customers are complaining it's dirty again lol The amount of customers you get at the late game is astronomical, my receptionist always has like 20 people in line and the store is just as bad. The janitor literally cant keep up.

If this stresses you that bad I suggest you stop playing now, it only gets worse. At least apparently the dev(s) are working on some improvements, I hear.
It does get a bit easier once you unlock employees (Janitor is probably the best one to get first, since there's always something to clean), but definitely gets worse again later on as polterchrist has said. Summer is particularly stressful as the humidity is just completely impossible to keep up with.
Yrs.. Cant wait to get me some staff, Tbh I have put tons of hours into Gas Station Sim and that can get a bit stressy too. I just need to come up with a decent strategy to manage my time.

Early game You just get on with it, you won’t be able to satisfy all who want a room, or all who want to buy something from store, or all who want room service, that’s life. I had about 50 wanting a pet room for a while, I just refused service. Just bring what money you can in. I did shut the motel down once to get a bit organised though. I also bumped room service up to $50 to make it worth my while :) haven’t unlocked staff yet but can imagine when I do I can at least get some rest bite!

Don't be afraid to turn off some of the areas. I have room service turned off till I can get an employee on it. Did the same with the restaurant until I could hire a chef once the quest was done. Even turning off the store in the early game til you can hire a cashier or afford to stock it. And definitely get the janitor as the first employee, it makes life so much less stressful.

Sorry for not getting into the subject. Is it necessary to kill animals in the game, is it possible to do without hunting?

Just quoting myself to confirm the one new employee is a god send! She’s cleaning the rooms once folk check out freeing me up for other stuff. Still crazy busy but it helps.

My biggest issue is the pacing. For example they give you a bonus quest in autumn to build more pet friendly rooms but they cost $2500, so you need to keep getting customers and finding the time to clear the trees from an area, build a pet friendly room, and furnish it - all before you can unlock employees - is all but impossible.

Winter is even worse. Even with two employees, it’s a struggle to mine the ice, clear trees, and build the five igloos to progress. My employees have maxed their skills but I still need to stop whatever I am doing to order items or switch the receptionist to a cashier to handle the store queue or to a deliverer to deal with room service orders, or to assign special employees to a room… and god forbid someone shows up in the parking lot or the phone rings while I am out beyond the fence. It’s damn near impossible to gather meat or fish since I am the only one who can answer the phone, deal with strangers, order supplies, or fuel the boiler.

I am about to enter Spring, just managed to hit level 3 motel, and already find the game to be a stressful click fest.

Jacking up your prices is the best way to handle the steady stream of customers. If your rates a high you only get customers willing to pay it and they don’t complain as much since you can maintain a good balance.

i wouldnt say its necessary, for acheavement purposes you need to and it does help with profit as you sell them in your shop freezer / use to cook with late game it gives you more to do whyle the staff are working away. hope this helps :)
