Anyone figured out how to set up Seven Star Sword Formation?

Hello, as the title says I've been trying to figure out how to use Sect Disciples passive skill, with no success so far. Has anyone succeeded?
Sect Disciples are upgraded from Ki Practisers.

Yes, it's weirdly worded but the directions do make sense. I'll try explaining as best as I can, but i'm prolly just spitting out the same directions.

First off, you need 7 Sect Disciples minimum (hence the name). Second, the formations work from right to left. So start with the RIGHTmost column and work your way left, as I'll explain now.

Place the Sect Dispiples as follows:
1st Column, 1st & 3rd Row (i.e. 1 in top row and 1 in middle row on the far right column)
2nd Column, 4th Row
3rd Column, 3rd Row
4th Column, 3rd Row
5th Column, 4th Row
6th Column, 5th Row (i.e. bottom-left most space)

You should see the passive buff pop up when you place the last one. You can fill the rest of the space with any unit you want, but the awkward positioning made me feel limited so I just made a whole legion of Disciples and made a "somewhat symmetric hourglass-shaped" formation. You have fun now

disciples unlocked by clearing 4th wave of hundred refinements sect trial. for how to make formation is like this:

" O " represent where to put sect disciples.
