The developers have larger priorities than to sink their resources into voice actors, who will likely only be paid only around ~$250 for how few voice lines this game has anyway. This is a small studio. Either there is AI voice acting, none at all, or very amateur voice acting likely done by acquaintances of the developers. Not sure what you are expecting.

I think if we want to complain about AI vs voice actors, we should volunteer as credited but unpaid voice actors. If the devs read this, I'm up for it. Its easy to complain, but if you also present a reasonable solution, it's more likely to get adopted.

Plus this game is $6 in early adoption so far. Why ask devs to use more time and money on voices when there are still stability issues with the matchmaking and regular tables?

I would voice act it for free. I voice-act everything in my games so this should not be a problem, not a lot of things that the characters are saying :)
