I had a large group of friends ready to go on NL Hold 'em too, but I've never seen a larger table than 9. It has a reason. :-)
Well, yes. It will add way more randomness mainly because you need to add two more spots to be dealt cards. Way more fake cards than real ones must be expected. But could be fun to have "Group Size to change to 4 or 6" when hosting.
I think it'd be good to let the host choose the number of players at the table. So if you still wanted to only play 4 you could, and the people that want more could play with more. Cause I get not everyone would want to play with 6, but it would be nice to have the option.
So imagine how long 6 players would take. A solution could be to increase the live bullets to 2.
Still, just offering the option would change the public lobby landscape, as everyone will aim for full lobbies rather than optimal ones.
It would be cool to see more games and game modes that are designed with more players in mind, but the ones currently in the game are not intended for more than 4 players and would suffer from more players.
Just add a different game mode. So people could play in a table with 4 or 6. Pokerstars does that.
This is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason. 6 player would be much more fun. Game is already fairly random.
