Clearly the Steam page managers won't notice this, won't communicate it to the developers, and won't get it patched out in the next release, right?
Right?
...yall have no concept of operational security istfg. Good job on risking breaking Linux because yall can't keep your gacha addiction in your wallets.
in log you can see in
<wineprefix>/drive_c/users/<NAME>/AppData/LocalLow/bluepoch/Reverse_ 1999/logicLog
ERROR==>[AVProVideo] Error: Decode failed. Possible codec not supported, video resolution/bit-depth too high, or insufficient system resources.
that AVProVideo require video acceleration to decode 1440p videos - that game uses
and "default wine" - does not include video acceleration.
means - wine you use does not have it
I think Proton-experimental in Steam have hardware-video acceleration, saw other people saying it was working for them - so try to change Proton version in Steam for that game.
I can share original way to launch game on Linux if someone need - in private messages (add me on steam and message).
Not in public.
