But back to it few months ago - there huge story added - actually interesting/good story.
But as I saw in steam reviews - they say - "you must be ready to play story game" - story/reading/listening must have value to you.
For modern gamers who look for no-brain gameplay mechanics - this game still have no content in this way.

This game wont run on Wine/Proton.
It does run on the latest Proton without any tweaks. Still, I've been using the Beta channel for some time, so I can't confirm that the game works the same on Stable.

Proton experimental - does not work, same with Proton 9.0.3 (latest now).
I have no idea what "beta" you talk about.
So for me without workaround it does not work.
I often use GE with new releases, but Reverse: 1999 launched with no issues without doing anything. I used Deck OS as virtual keyboard often has trouble in desktop mode. I'm not in Beta, using Stable. Have you verified files? Is your Proton up to date?
