2) You can find the prisoner on the south-east most room of the Ascending Ruins area, the one where there is an Eye of the Oblivion on it.
3) Those have special hidden conditions: if you have collected 15 or more Relics OR if you have defeated 250 or more enemies
Unfortunately for whatever reason, my screenshot key isn't working with the game. Dunno why.
1) I've got Vorpalis, Ethereal Boots, Brooch, Matriarch Heart, Climb Gauntlets, Oceano, Sacred Cloak, Spectral Mask, Carver's Medal, Daub's Shield, Solaria Shard, Soul Surpressor, Obliterae, Warrior Figurine, Lazarus, Annihilation of I, Blood Oath
2) Unfortunately, he's not there.
3) Aaah okay, thanks for leting me know.
As for the Relics, you are missing the Moon Bracer. You'll need to go to Westend and use the Sacred Cloak to float over the green mud. The Relic is in the room there.
2) If the quest is active, he should be there. I'll look deep into this.
Hi!
The relic you mentioned isn't flagged as a relic in my version of the game. It's an accessory that grants STR+1 and sword waves on attack.
You are correct! At the last moment before the final build it was changed to a normal item and I completely forgot to remove the extra Relic slot! My bad!
1) Open the folder C:\Users\[you]\AppData\Local\HAS_Vania;
2) Edit the data.sav corresponding with your save slot (1, 2 or 3);
3) Find the value "105306472256" and delete the entire line, not just the value;
4) Save the file, close it and reload your game;
4) Go to the specific location on the game and see if the character is there;
Please, remember that this may not work, but there's a chance it would. If you do not find the value it unfortunately didn't work and I'm sorry about it.
This issue for sure will not happen on a new save or if you didn't reached that room yet.
That worked. Wonderful.
I still need to do a second runthrough because of the cat quest being needed for the Complete All Quests achievement, but that shouldn't take too long on the easy difficulty.
Is it possible to get the bottom-most Talent unlocked (beneath Dexterity)? Somehow I seem to have missed that too. I have Alchemy, Demonology, Cartography, Determination, Linguistics, Vigor, Resonance, Dexterity but haven't seen any opportunity to get another, and i've got 2500ish talent points spare.
About the Talent: The Talent missing is in a room in the Crypts area. It is a small room located in the north area, between one large vertical and one large horizontal room.
Oh poop! That's one of those rooms that I entered from the right of, couldn't get through the vine, and went elsewhere, but never went back to because it is only a small room on the map and I'd uncovered it so figured I'd completed it. Entirely my fault. T_T
I'd love to hear your thoughts after you complete the game! I'm glad you are so commited to 100% it, that's amazing! There are things I never expected people to actually see or find out how to unlock xD
It's a really solid game that, unfortunately, I had a rather frustrating experience with due to the Xelophos, the Watcher boss. I first entered his room from the right but couldn't progress because of the vines, then got killed in the gravestone room nearby.
Of course, this uncovered all those rooms on the map, so when I went back around the top, I skirted down the left hand side and past the zappy block, saw vines and thought "I can't get past those yet" and continued on my merry way down through the Flooded Tunnels.
I basically ended up doing everything else I could in the game except get past those vines, because I *just* missed seeing that boss, and because I didn't know he was there, didn't mark him on the map.
This resulted in me getting frustrated and ending up spending 90 minutes ticking off every room in the game, trying to find what I missed, but naturally ended up starting from the top left of the map and working my way over... This felt like a real slog/chore, sadly.
My YouTube series on the game has started being released, so if you're interested (and can look past me being a bit harsh in my frustrations), you can see how my thoughts evolved over the course of the game. The first three episodes are pretty positive, but I ran into several bugs in the latter half (that you've already fixed!) that soured my experience.
In retrospect, I wish I'd taken a couple of days break to let you fix up those bugs, then come back to it refreshed and not so negative, as I do believe it's a really solid and well-thought-out game, albeit with a couple of design decisions that I never agree with for Metroidvanias (missable quests, etc — that's something I dislike in any MV, but appreciate that devs have their own visions).
That fix did'nt work for me :( The eye was returned to room though.¨.
CORRECTION:
This worked, but had to reclaim the quest. Thanks!
1) Where is the cat people are talking about? :)
2) Can't find the other piece for the scales
3) Where to use summoning stone?
