Project Pantheon

Project Pantheon

Be cautious!!
Just a head's up - these developers promised so much with WOLCEN: Lords of Mayhem. The reason why I am making a little discussion is because they didn't deliver on their promise but instead they shut Wolcen down after years of promising us fix's and optimisation and TRUE end-game. They did not deliver on ANY of it.

I would not buy a game from them or support them as they do seem like they will probably repeat the same mistakes they made with an ARPG game. It had so much potential and it didn't fail because "other games" (usual excuse from devs) or "crunch". They had plenty of feedback, plenty of time e.t.c but they ignored players for years, until it was to late.

Think about it, this is a PVEVP game. If they could not do an ARPG game and instead SHUT down the servers, how long do you think this game will last when the market is flooded with games like this, and probably, better ones at that.

Please be careful. Ask any Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem player and you will see what I mean.

If any developer reads this, please, PLEASE don't take what I am saying to heart. I loved Wolcen, my PC back then could hardly run it... yeah I know... sad aint it, but the only advice I'd give you guys - Do several PUBLIC tests. An ALPHA test for a small amount of players. Do it in waves. Then do a beta, closed first then an open beta. All of this for feedback before the game comes out so you know WHAT to work on. It's the most crucial time for feedback because if you launch it in a poor state... it will end up in the shadows of many AAA games.

Honestly! Lets them die, they have 2 games Bullet Noir and Project Pantheon that they are juggling in between. Not to mention, their main game Wolcen still to this day is a mess.

I followed them way back when they announced Umbra (aka Wolcen) on Kickstarter, everything they promised back then was canceled and replaced with Diablo 3 clone that we have today.

I'm sick of game companies these days push out scams, unfinished, bugs games

Came here to say the same. Wolcen was barely half-baked at launch, and afaik they never fixed the variety of issues that plagued it. It's honestly insane to me they didn't rename their studio, bc why would anyone buy something from wolcen studio knowing the game's history?

It has all the makings of a low effort P2W cash grab
