The studio is currently busy with other projects, so the updates for this project will likely only involve bug fixes.

That's not a good news,but sadly it's a common thing for this type of games,Relase the game and don't add any content apart of bux fixes

Not every game can be vampire survivors, soulstone survivors and such.

Sadly. Well I don't see a reason why u can't really add anything to the game. I play many games from this type and some giving bigger or smaller updates but still trying to give players something new.
