Is this game really hard or do I just suck?

I've never been particularly good at FPS games and usually don't enjoy them but Ziggurat is the execption to the rule. I love playing this game and really enjoy the rogue like elements but I've been playing for 7ish hours and still can't get past level 3. The difficulty reminds me of some of those old quarter munchers from the 90s with way better graphics.

It must be said, however that I recently switched to playing with a keyboard and mouse instead of x360 gamepad. I was told by a friend that it is eaiser to play FPS games with these.

Keyboard + Mouse is much much better. If you've just switched to using it, yeah there's going to be some difficulties. Just keep it up. The game is hard too, so it's probably a little of both.

I agree with that. Keyboard + mouse is the way to go, and Ziggurat is definitely challenging. Keep going, I can remember I didn't get far when I first started playing as well.

Unlock everything, by then you will know what weapons and perks are best. After that its pretty much luck. I beat hard with simon the sorcerer intoxicated at 5 am for no reason other than luck.
