We'll do the following changes (also opinions):

  • Anguish Cannon: One of the highest DPS in the game (although not against a single enemy), and decent-to-low economy value. No need to change anything methinks.
  • Catapult of Doom: Its actual DPS is lower than we expected, but we think it's a good weapon to damage large crowds, so we'll just reduce mana usage.
  • Magma Blaster: Its DPS is not that great, mostly because it has a high Overkill value (wasting damage on weak enemies). Since it has a decent economy value, we won't change anything.
  • Firestorm Grenade: Again, high Overkill value means it's really more powerful against strong enemies than it might look, and it has good economy.
  • Magma Rifle: Similar DPS to previous weapons but smaller overkill (meaning it's not specially powerful against tough enemies), in exchange for a good economy.
  • Fireweaver bombs: Really high DPS (Overkill value can't be trusted here) and Economy. But, since this weapon is almost useless against flying enemies, and it requires good skill to use it effectively, we'll just increase a bit mana usage.
  • Archangel's embrace: Really low DPS and overkill value, and decent-to-high economy. We'll slightly increase fire rate.
  • Arcane Maelstrom: DPS and economy is low, but this is probably because this weapon is wasted when targeting a single enemy, against crowds this attack doesn't look that bad. So no change.
  • Dragon's bile: High DPS and good economy. You'd think that having to get close to use this weapon effectively may be enough to compensate, but I'm not so sure about it. The problem is that increasing mana usage for this weapon is too drastic (going from 1 point per attack to 2). However, I think that's what we'll do.
  • Frozen soul: Decent-to-low DPS, good economy. Move along.
  • Hellish Ember: Higher DPS than Frozen Soul, worse economy. Keep walking.
  • Wraith rings: Similar values to hellish ember, but the weapon works differently. Again, no need to change anything.
  • Divine wrath: The DPS of this weapon isn't as high as expected, and its economy sucks too. We may increase its damage (to increase DPS) and mana usage (to keep economy at a low value).
  • Eagle Staff: Low DPS and good economy. Add Homing attacks to the equation and you get a pretty decent weapon.
  • Undead Scepter: Low DPS and good economy. No problems
  • Eye of Twilight: Higher DPS than other staves, and lower economy. No need to balance.
  • Solar Staff: Decent DPS and economy. You know this weapon has to be used in a different way too :).
Wand: Since the wand is a bad weapon unless upgraded, no real need to change it :p

Are you recording which upgrades make people abandon the game? Like having an early cid get 'brute' via a secret room. Ought to be an option to not pick up that horrible crap.
I'll also restart if I get fireweaver bombs, like I need to hurt myself when picking up exp.

Nope. That's pretty specific and we just have global numbers.

Which alchemy weapon is the one that shoots the massive electric ball. I love that weapon.

That's the Anguish Cannon :)

I would say the Anguish Cannon could use a slight increase in the mana useage. There are rooms where it's nothing but kobolds, or the raptor things. In these types of scenarios, you can destroy the entire room without effort.
