Tradning Cards

This might sound like a simple question.... But Do you have to play Campaige to unlock the cards, or is it working in Sandbox gaming aswell?

Hello TheTrekker! Not a stupid question at all. My understanding is that no, you don't have to play the campaign to unlock the cards. The unlocking of cards is tied to your playtime, not the achievements you made. You can find more info here: http://steamcommunity.com/tradingcards/faq/
