Game still does not support steam deck/linux

I'm really disappointed about this, I bought the game solely to play on steam deck because it's perfect for the device. Found out it didn't work so I waited, expecting an update for support. It's been almost 2 months and it still does not work.

I have a linux version working but it has a few performance issues. I'll take my time and release it when it's ready.

Maybe you could upload a test version?
I believe Steam allows multiple builds to be uploaded then we could select the version from properties for testing.

Just a suggestion as I've got a Steam Deck so I'd be happy to give it a test. Unless it's really not in a playable state then I guess I'll keep on waiting.

Currently there is no way. You will have to wait for a future update.
