You don't, if you buy it directly from developers and not Steam. In Steam you need to have a base game and that is IL-2 Battle of Stalingrad.
If you buy MORE than one, they are all combined, so you don't have different shortcuts and install folders for Tank Crew, and Mosow, and Kuban. You are paying to use the controllable units in that title, their campaigns, and their maps, but they are all already there in the game.
Ridiculous Steam never thought of that when they created their interface, so they forced Battle of Stalingrad to be the "main" title and everything else is a DLC to it...to Steam. But that's not the actual situation.
