I really dont understand what our comrades are saying , but yes , DCS has cliclable cockpits , but it charges you 80 dollars for 1 aircarft , just 1 !

Yeah DCS Is way more overpriced than IL2. With IL2 you get 8 - 10 planes or tanks and a map and missions for the same price.

You don't, if you buy it directly from developers and not Steam. In Steam you need to have a base game and that is IL-2 Battle of Stalingrad.

Bought it and it is great. But the german Campaign seems to miss the first 4 Missions. Please Patch it ;)

No.

It's not a DLC. It's only a DLC because of how Steam does it. It's a stand alone title that you can buy which does not require owning anything else. Or you can buy Battle of Mosow. Or Battle of Kuban. Each title is unto itself and you can buy only one if you choose from their website using their launcher.
If you buy MORE than one, they are all combined, so you don't have different shortcuts and install folders for Tank Crew, and Mosow, and Kuban. You are paying to use the controllable units in that title, their campaigns, and their maps, but they are all already there in the game.
Ridiculous Steam never thought of that when they created their interface, so they forced Battle of Stalingrad to be the "main" title and everything else is a DLC to it...to Steam. But that's not the actual situation.
