Graphic settings

I just increased my graphic setting . Now the game just shows a Spitfire in the Hanger.
There are no other settings at all

Shutdown the game. Go to your game folder:

SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\startup.cfg

Open the startup.cfg file and adjust the resolution to your screen size. (Examples below for my 1080 setup).

full_height = 1080
full_width = 1920

&
win_height = 1080
win_width = 1920

Save the startup.cfg file after making your adjustments and then close.

There is no Startup.config file. Only Startup. When I opened it there was a message box, Eset warned me it was potentionally harmful.

Well there should be a "startup.cfg" file in the folder outlined above in a normal installation.

Open this file with a text editor and make the required changes.

Maybe you should run a "verify file integrity" via Steam if you're missing files.

OK doing it now.

Changed the graphic settings in Startup cfg, put them back to 1920x1080 no difference.

Is that your monitors/TVs native resolution? You should enter whatever values are your monitor/TVs native res values are. (At least to start with...)

Have you set the game to fullscreen mode? Or tried in windowed?
Startup.cfg: fullscreen = 1 (or change to "0" for windowed)

It effectively makes the same changes one can make manually in the startup.cfg file but provides a GUI and simplifies the process somewhat.

If that doesn't work, perhaps post the issue on the official forum as I'm out of ideas at this point.

I've experienced this problem you're experiencing before when i selected a resolution the game didn't like, but i have always resolved it with the steps I have outlined above.
